J-M Nijs Flemish designer, interior decorator, redesigner, stager and trainer. Following his education at the Academy of Visual Arts in Tongeren, Belgium, J-M Nijs moved in 1990 to Hasselt, Belgium where he studied Interior Design at the VCH, in 1993 Nijs held a position of senior decorator for several years. In 1995 the main press started to notice his exceptional talent and J-M was featured in several trend magazines and the newspapers. In 2000 Nijs started Design Inc. an inspirational journey for himself experimenting with decorating, design and inventing several new ways to decorate and be creative, several companies followed Nijs in his journey and offered him the opportunity to experiment with his new style. In 2005 J-M Nijs met his partner in Brussels and he moved to Zurich (Switzerland) in 2006, after traveling through Italy and several other countries for over a year J-M and his partner moved to Canada in 2007, J-M attended an International School in Canada to learn more about Interior design and decorating in North America, during this period J-M started to draw out the base lines for "House Flanders". J-M has dedicated his life to decorating ,design ,redesign ,staging and good living.
